Redesigning: The Little Match Girl's World- WIP

Introducing more angles and viewpoints to her world! This airplane is having a fun little ride, escaping the confines of the town below. Below are a couple thumbs as well. WIP

Bugs!

Also been drawing a couple bugs!

Redesigning; The Little Match Girl's World

Lately I've been continuing to work on this redesign! This one focuses on the batteries that lie beneath the city. They power the electric lights that are slowly taking over and replacing the little match girl's matches and lamps.

How To: Bake Kahlua Coffee Chocolate Chip Cookies- The Illustrated Guide

I'm currently working on a "How To" that illustrates how to bake a chocolate chip cookie with a twist. Here's an in-progress shot! All of the ingredients have been drawn/ colored- all that is left is to add the title, write out the processes, and color in the final cookies!

And the finalized version!

Redesigning: The Little Match Girl's World

Building on what I worked out last time, I'm working on a more grounded view of the world trying to add in more fantastical elements. I tried to place the little match girl's house front and center with more emphasis on what she's selling and framing it with her competition, the electric signs that are taking over the city she lives in. My next goal is to figure out what creatures roam the streets and what vehicles are putt-putting about (potentially flying vehicles?).

Redesigning: Little Match Girl

Lately I've been taking a Vis Com class at Concept Design Academy and it's been amazing! We can only use pen and its introduced me to copic markers! One of our projects throughout the course is a "redesign project".  Below are two pages from my redesign of "The Little Match Girl". The first are iterations of the match girl's house. The second image is of the slum she lives in.

Self Portrait

I had this small pillow that my auntie made me that I would carry around with me all the time. So much so that it soon had an indent halfway through it and all its pillow guts sank to the bottom. And paired with the "palm tree" updo that my mom would always tie my hair in and a big ol' smile on my face, this is me as a bebbeh!
