This weekend was spent organizing my drawings/ putting them into Photoshop and typing up what's going on in the story. It was a very productive weekend!!! Here's a link to the previous post that shows some potential storyboards: http://skujubu.blogspot.com/2011/03/potential-storyboards-for-firenze-story.html
I've put up all the storyboards that I've completed so far on my animatedbuzz account: http://animatedbuzz.com/profile/skujubu so please check it out if you have time!!!
These first two storyboards are the first of the story.
The storyboards below got turned into an animation/ animatic, but I'm currently having trouble loading videos onto Vimeo from Italy so please bear with me. I'll get it up soon! I didn't notice it until now, but I'm also thinking that the first storyboard on the page below [to the very left] needs to be panned out and the view the same as the view used in the other two panels on the page. Otherwise it looks too confusing. Agree? Disagree? Other suggestions as to how I can resolve any confusion that might be going on, please let me know!
Here's the Flash I attempted-- I think this is the first time I've drawn directly into Flash [without tracing a drawing beneath it], so this was definitely a learning experience. It was a lot of fun to work on, although the second half is still in keyframe form-- I have to get on that, but I accomplished what I set out to do; communicate the car's motion. I feel so accomplished, haha. Also, if anyone has an innovative, interesting title please holler at me. Until then, ciao ciao!!!

Potential Storyboards for Firenze Story!
They're rough and out of order but here's two pages of potential storyboards that I'll use for the Firenze story I've been working on! [I posted sketches and some drawings that are going into the storyboards earlier: http://skujubu.blogspot.com/2011/03/going-going-going.html] Hip, hip, hooray for progress!!!
War of the Foods!!!
In the beginning of last semester [fall of Junior year] I worked in a group of four girls and we created 'War of the Foods'!!! It was actually pretty fun collaborating in such a big group [I say "big" because previously the largest group I had ever worked in was one other person and myself]. I did camera work/ animation of characters from 0:07-0:24 and created the carrot and cylindrical can figures/ modeled/ rigged/ animated them and the camera movements from 0:50-1:04. Feedback on 0:50-1:04 is appreciated!

Storyboards for The Baker!!!
So here's a few storyboards from 'The Baker'!!! [Aaaaaaand the video so you can see where those scenes were from! I didn't know how to make previous post of 'The Baker' move to the beginning of my blog... So I'm reposting!]

Sketches for Firenze Story
I'm taking Steph's suggestion and am shooting to storyboard up until where the girl gets to the market to sell her carrots. SO-- here's what I've been up to so far with my preparatory sketches for my storyboards~
It's really fun drawing these and they help SO much. Comments, constructive criticism, and love is appreciated!

a hopeful trend?
I really got into doing some drawing of potential places for my little grocery truck to drive down. BUT I feel like I should start from the beginning:
Inspiration has struck and I have begun to storyboard/ animate! Kind of. It's better than nothing and it's been making me happy. The rough story focuses on a woman/ girl whose job is to deliver produce/ things in her little produce/ grocery truck: [basing my produce/grocery truck design off of the ones I see at the market all the time]:
I also went to the Sant' Ambrogio market to do some car studies:
So the rough story so far goes like this:

I also went to the Sant' Ambrogio market to do some car studies:
So the rough story so far goes like this:
- Grocery truck flies down the street [produce bouncing everywhere]
- bounds down another street and we're able to see girl's harried face
- BATTLES IT OUT WITH ANOTHER CAR FOR ROAD SPACE
- Girl's produce car makes a stop in front of a market with umbrellas poking out of the stands: lots of bustle
- animate people/ figures walking past
- record crowd noises somehow
- Show girl unloading from truck and haggling with vendors: exchange money
- Battle thief who tries to steal her produce
- Follow her on her way home
- show another conflict: her getting accosted as she tries to enter her apartment[?]
- Drinks cup of tea/ takes laundry inside off clothesline/ goes to bed
- Starts day all over again: show girl getting into produce truck
